A State Department attache revealed today that 4,000 to 5,000 immigrants can enter the United States under the Italian quota of 5,802 for the year beginning July 1. He pointed out, however, that the immigration regulations require them to be native born. Foreign born persons must apply under the quota of their countries of origin.
