Lithuania Prohibits Jewish Immigration

Minister of Interior S. Leonas declared today that Lithuania would not tolerate pretensions of foreign Jews and accordingly would not permit future entry of Jewish immigrants. In a statement published in a Government organ, Colonel Leonas assured that the Government would treat minorities tolerantly and sought to meet the cultural and social requirements of the Jews as the largest minority.
