Novelist Wounded in Anti-semitic Attack Near Warsaw

Salomon Berlinski, noted Yiddish novelist, was wounded today in an attack by a gang of anti-Semitic youths in the Warsaw suburb of Zoniborz. He was removed to a hospital in a serious condition. Berlinski is best known for his novel “A Leben Geht Oif,” or “Life Begins.”
