It was learned in British official circles today that the British League of Nations delegation has prepared a statement on Palestine answering the criticism of the Permanent Mandates Commission that Great Britain had partially suspended the mandate in prolonging its curb on Jewish immigration to Palestine. Reading of the statement, scheduled for an early session, is expected to be followed by a prolonged debate on Palestine at a closed session of the Sixth (political) Commission.

Dr. Nahum Goldmann, representative of the Zionist Organization, and the Rev. Maurice Perlzweig of England, a member of the executive of the World Zionist Organization and the Jewish Agency for Palestine, conferred with British Foreign Undersecretary Richard A. Butler, a member of the British delegation to the League Assembly.
