Among bills killed by the dissolution of the Polish Parliament is one which would have completely prohibited practice of kosher slaughter which is now under partial ban in Poland. The bill had been adopted by the Seim (lower house) but had not yet been confirmed by the Senate. Under parliamentary procedure, in the event of a new Parliament the bill must be discussed and adopted not only by the new Sejm but by the new Senate as well.
