Government aid for Jewish colonization in Uruguay was promised today by President Alfredo Baldomir to a delegation of Jewish leaders. General Baldomir praised Jewish energy and industry. The president was informed by the delegation of a decision by the Jewish Bank of Uruguay to found the first Jewish agricultural colony in the country. The first settlers will be Jews now living in Uruguay.
