Dr. Walter Fischel, of the oriental department at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, arrived here today after completing a successful five-month tour of South American countries on behalf of the university.
During his tour, Dr. Fischel said he organized committees to aid the Hebrew University in every country he visited. he also established contacts for the jerusalem institution at a number of leading universities, including those at Buenos Aires, so Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and others. he declared many non-Jewish leaders in political, economic and educational life attended receptions for him and cooperated in formation of the committees.
