Colombia Restricts Jewish Immigration

Colombia’s new immigration laws double the landing deposits required from Jewish immigrants, the local authorities have been advised here. instead of $150 for Western European Jews and $600 for east European Jews, $300 and $1,200 respectively are now demanded. the new law also requires that Jews passports be marked valid for reentry to their country of origin.
