A cable deploring American intervention in the Palestine situation was sent to President Roosevelt today by the Syrian section of the Palestine Defense Committee. It said in part; “America has always practiced a policy of the defense of human rights. We hope that it will not act otherwise toward the Arabs and that it will not give its support to a movement designed to despoil their country to the advantage of foreigners.”
