Palestine Jewry, marking the 21st anniversary of the Bal four Declaration, served notice on the Government today that it was unitedly opposed to any policy blocking the way to its free growth and proclaimed the “full resurrection” of the Jewish people in their homeland. The notice was contained in a letter by the Jewish National Council to William D. Battershill, Chief Secretary of the Palestine Administration. With it was issued a manifesto urging Jewish youth to enroll in the government-authorized Jewish volunteer defense corps.
