Naval Officer Accused As Silver Shirt Organizer

A United States Naval Intelligence Reserve Officer was accused today before the House Committee on Un-American Activities as an organizer of the anti-Semitic Silver Shirts in Pittsburgh. John C. Metcalfe, committee investigator, named the officer as Charles Bruce Swift and said he had turned his evidence over to the Navy Department.
