Two Berlin newspapers and three of the leading newspapers in Vienna will soon be suspended. In Vienna the Neue Freie presse, the Neues wiener journal and the wiener tagblatt will be combined into a single journal. The Berliner Tageblatt and the Berliner Volkszeitung will be replaced on Jan. I by a new evening paper the name of which has not yet been selected, but which will be published by Deutscher Verlag.
