Uruguay Curbs Visas for Jewish Refugees

The Associated Press reported today from Montevideo that the Uruguayan Government had instructed its consuls to refuse visas to all foreign Jews leaving their own country because of political or racial reasons. The consuls hereafter must submit such cases to the Foreign Ministry for decision, the A.P. said.
