Instructions to make a vigorous protest to the Netherlands Government in connection with shots reportedly fired at the German legation at the Hague and at the home of the Chancellor of the German Consulate-General at Amsterdam were sent today to Graf von Zech-Burkersroda, German Minister to The Netherlands. Today’s Nazi newspapers warned that such incidents might result in “more severe reprisals” against Jews in Germany.
