Britain Names 3 Experts to Guiana Commission

The Colonial Office announced today appointment of three British experts to aid the American survey mission assigned by President Roosevelt’s Advisory Committee on Refugees to investigate possibilities of refugee settlement in British Guiana. They are Sir Crawford Douglas Jones, former Colonial Secretary of British Guiana; Sir Geoffrey Evans, former principal of the Imperial College of Tropical Agriculture at Trinidad, and Dr. D.W. Duthie, agricultural chemist of the British Guiana Government.
