Dr. Solomon Goldman, president of the Zionist Organization of America, stated today that the Jews were entering the London conferences with apprehension over its outcome. He said American Zionists viewed the parleys with “considerable suspicion” because of “a keen disappointment at the invitation extended by Great Britain to the representatives of other Arab states to be represented at and attend these round-table conferences in utter violation of the terms and spirit of the mandate,” Louis Lipsky will sail on the Manhattan on Wednesday to join the American delegation.
