The Pro-Palestine Federation of America, a Christian organization, announced today that it has sent a cable to Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain urging the British Government not to abandon the Balfour Declaration and to remove restrictions on immigration of Jews to the Holy land. Signatories to the cable included Governors L. Saltenstall of Massachusetts and Frank D. Fitzgerald of Michigan; the Rev. Charles S. MacFarland, general secretary of the Federation of Churches of Christ in America; the Rev. John Haynes Holmes, pastor of the Community Church; William Green, president of the American Federation of Labor, and a number of university professors.
