An experts’ commission sponsored by the President’s Advisory Committee on Refugees sailed today on the steamship Berinquen to investigate colonization possibilities in the Dominican Republic which have been offered to the Intergovernmental Refugee Committee. The commission is headed by Dr. H.D. Barker of the Federal Bureau of Plant and Industry.
