Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter will retain his army reserve commission, which technically subjects him to call for service in the event of war. Justice Frankfurter is a major in the Judge Advocate General’s section of the reserve corps. It was thought he would resign his commission when named to the bench, but today he informed Brig. Gen Edwin M. Watson, presidential secretary, that he intends to retain the commission.
