It was reported from Albany today that Governor Lehman has decided to appoint Alexander Kahn, general manager of the Jewish Daily Forward and a leader of the American Labor Party, to the vacancy in the Supreme Court in Brooklyn. Mr. Kahn told the J.T.A. that “this is news to me, although I have known that it was brewing.” Mr. Kahn is vice-chairman of the Joint Distribution Committee and a leader of the National Labor Committee for Palestine.
