Synagogues in North London are receiving the special attention of police during Passover week as a result of the desecration of the Burma Road Synagogue. A pig’s head was found nailed to the door of the synagogue four days ago, but the fact was kept secret until today in order not to alarm worshippers, many of whom are refugees. The Passover services were not disturbed.
