The Senate, by a vote of 46 to 1, has passed and sent to the Assembly the Perry bill to exclude from the benefits of the State Labor Relations Act any union which denies membership to persons because of race, creed or color. The C.I.O. opposed the bill on the ground that it might give rise to false charges against unions which would hamper their activity.
