Police today dispersed three election meetings addressed by former Jewish deputy Dr. Bela Fabian following disturbances created by members of the anti-Semitic Arrow Cross. Dr. Fabian’s car was stoned.

Dr. Fabian and Ernst Brody, also a former deputy, are candidates in the Parliamentary elections. Dr. Johann Vazsonyi, son of the former Justice Minister, has retired from politics. Under the new anti-Jewish law, Jews are entitled to six per cent of the deputies in the Lower House and are barred entirely from representation in the Upper House. The Lower House numbers 262 deputies.
