Argentina Bans Foreign-directed Political Groups

The Argentine Nazi party, two Italian-directed organization and the Spanish Falangist party today faced suppression if they do not subscribe to “democratic principles” within 90 days under a decree issued by President Robert M. Ortiz ordering the dissolution of political organizations controlled from abroad. The decree followed an inquiry into Nazi activities in Argentina.
