Argentine Police Ban Display of Zionist Flag on National Holidays

The police, acting under a Government decree of 1933, today prohibited display of the blue-white Zionist emblem on the grounds that it does not represent a state. Most Jewish merchants had been in the habit of displaying the flag together with the Argentine emblem on national holidays.
