An appeal to the British Government to realize the “folly and futility” of its new Palestine policy and to implement the Jewish homeland policy was broadcast tonight by Dr. Solomon Goldman, president of the Zionist Organization of America, as a reply to Colonial Secretary Malcolm MacDonald.

Dr. Goldman spoke over the Blue network of the National Broadcasting Company, the same network used by Mr. MacDonald in his broadcast from Geneva on Tuesday night. The Zionist leader spoke in place of Dr. Chaim Weizmann, whose scheduled speech from London was cancelled because of illness. He outlined the Jews’ legal and moral claim in Palestine and urged the British Government not to crystallize the Jewish homeland at a time when intolerance and persecution were making hundreds of thousands of Jews homeless.
