The autonomous Slovak Government last night decreed that a declaration on all property owned by foreigners in Slovakia must be filed with the authorities.
The same decree set up an anti-Jewish law similar to one promulgated in Bohemia-Moravia by Reich Protector Konstantin von Neurath. The measure requires that Jews must declare all their properties within 60 days, and they are enjoined from selling any of it without first consulting the authorities. Any infraction of the decree is punishable by a fine of up to 50,000 crowns and six months’ imprisonment.
