Jewish refugees here today launched a campaign for funds with which to purchase a squadron of warplanes for France as a token of gratitude for providing them with asylum. The drive was opened at a meeting of the newly-former Jewish Immigrants Committee, of which the honorary president include Senators Gaston Roge and Henri Cournault, Deputy Francois Valentin and Rabbi Haguenauer of Nancy.
