Concluding his testimony before the Dies Committee today, Earl Browder, secretary of the Communist Party, declared there were not more than 2,500 Jews in the party in the whole country. More than half of these, he said, are in New York City. He gave his total party strength as about 100,000, and pointed out that the ratio of Jews in the Communist Party is no greater than the ratio of Jews to the population of the United States as a whole.
