Large numbers of war refugees from Poland, especially Galicia, are concentrated on the Rumanian frontier and hundreds of them have been admitted to Rumania, according to information received in Polish official circles here.

Camps are being established for those admitted, it was stated, and they will be kept there unless they receive financial relief from abroad which would guarantee them from becoming public burdens during their stay in Rumania.

A similar situation prevails on the Latvian and Lithuanian frontiers. Refugees havi visas for the United States or foreign passports have no difficulty in being admitted temporarily into the Baltic lands.
