General Jewish Council Airs World Crisis at Closed Session Here

The General Jewish Council, comprising representatives of the American Jewish Committee, the American Jewish Congress, the B’nai B’rith and the Jewish Labor Committee, held an in camera session here today. An announcement issued prior to the meeting said the Council would consider the problems arising out of the present world situation. A proposal to summon a conference of certain representative organizations in addition to the Council’s present constituent bodies was on the agenda.
