The Yiddish daily, Die Neie Presse, suspended publication yesterday because of a shortage of funds and a lack of subscribers. The paper, which had appeared in Paris for about six years, had a following similar to that of the New York Morning Freiheit (Yiddish Communist daily).
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
