B’nai B’rith Unit Votes to Aid Mundelein’s Favorite Charity

A special appropriation to be presented to the favorite charity of the late George Cardinal Mundelein, Archbishop of Chicago, the charity to be named by Bishop Bernard J. Sheil, administrator of the archdiocese, was voted by the Chicago B’nai B’rith Council at a special session called to memorialize the eminent Catholic churchman. A B’nai B’rith delegation representing the Supreme Lodge, District Grand Lodge No, 6, whose headquarters is in Chicago, and the Chicago Council, participated in the Cardinal’s funeral.
