Recent statements in Arab language broadcasts from Germany that Great Britain planned to recruit a Jewish army to fight the Arabs were today described as “stupid” by the Colonial office. If it becomes necessary to mobilize troops in Palestine to oppose aggression from outside, Arabs as well as Jews will be included in the defense forces, the office said.
