Three Jewish members of the Budapest Municipal Council have been suspended as a result of the anti-Jewish law. They are Dr. Nikolaus Woerwesvari and ex-Deputies Bela Fabian and Ernst Brodie. Another councillor who is half-Jewish was also suspended although he cited his participation in the anti-Communist counter-revolution of 1919.

The Hungarian authorities have banned “Story of the Jews,” book by Dr. Lewis Browne, American Jewish author and lecturer. No reason for the action was given.
