Red Cross Sends $45,000 to Help Clothe Refugees in Lithuania, Hungary

The American Red Cross announced today that it had cabled an additional $45,000 to buy warm clothing for refugees driven from Poland. This new sum will be made available for refugees in Lithuania and Hungary.

In addition, a huge shipment of clothing and material is being assembled for refugees in Rumania. It was estimated that in Rumania are 14,500 civilian refugees and 23,000 interned soldiers.
