Advices from Sofia said today that the Bulgarian police authorities have served 15-day deportation orders on Jews who no longer enjoy the protection of the governments in their countries of citizenship. German, Czech and Spanish Jews are reported to be chiefly affected.

The Jews ordered expelled will be permitted to take with them a maximum of 300 leva (about $21). Many of them were born in Bulgaria but had retained the citizenship of their parents. Others have lived there from 40 to 50 years.
