G. Polak Daniels, famous Hague liberal journalist and parliamentary correspondent of the newspaper Het Vaterland, has been elected president of the Dutch Journalists Association. The election, which was almost unanimous, marked the first time in the organization’s 40-year history that a Jew was elevated to the presidency.
