With German-Rumanian trade relations somewhat improved, Nazi agents in Rumania have started an organized propaganda campaign for firms here dealing with the Reich to dismiss Jewish employes and sever relationships with Jews on pain of losing orders from the Reich. German agents also demand that Rumanian firms shipping goods to Germany should use only German backs in Rumania, especially the Societates Bacara Rumana, which is the former Dresdener Bank.

Simultaneously, the Nazi-subsidized German-language press in Rumania opened a campaign against Jews in commerce and industry. This is apparently under instructions from Berlin, which is believed to feel that such a campaign would enable Germans in Rumania to obtain greater control over Rumanian exports.
