The secularized religions of Nazism and Communism are the natural developments of romanticism and rationalism which oppose prophetic religion, Prof, Reinhold Niebuhr of Union Theological Seminary, declared today before 200 ministers meeting at the Jewish Theological Seminary to open the Institute of Interdenominational Studies. Prof. Louis Finkelstein, Provost and Professor of Theology at the Seminary, presided at the opening luncheon.
