State Senate Passes Bill Outlawing Race Bias in Labor Groups

The State Senate today unanimously passed and sent to Governor Lehman a bill to prohibit racial and religious discrimination by labor organizations. The Governor’s approval was expected since he urged such a measure in his message to the Legislature.
