Hadassah announced today that it has appointed Mrs. Edward Jacobs, former president, as a special envoy to make a two-months survey of public health and emergency refugee needs in the Holy Land. Mrs. Jacobs, at present the only woman member of the Executive of the Jewish Agency, will sail Saturday on the S.S. Manhattan.
