Official quarters today disclaimed all knowledge of the reported Hitler peace plan, one of whose 11 points deals with forced emigration Jews from Germany under British, French and Italian direction.

Discussing the emigration point, one commentator sarcastically referred to Hitler’s “liberal disposition of Palestine.” The reference to Jewish immigration to Palestine elicited surprise here in view of the Nazis’ advocacy of the Arab cause and their criticism of Jewish immigration to the Holy Land which the Nazis have hitherto insisted belonged solely to the Arabs.

The proposal for Jewish settlement of Italian East Africa also occasioned surprise because of the fact that the Italian Government lately has been unreceptive to all such schemes.
