Abraham Abrahams, head of the political department of the New Zionist Organization, discussing the N.Z.O.’s plan for a Jewish army at a press conference, said he believed it possible to recruit 200,000 men in various countries of the Old and New World.

Delegations are popularizing the idea in the United States and Argentina, he said, and it is also hoped to obtain substantial support in the Balkans. Steps have been taken in London to contact parliamentarians favoring the proposal in order to form a parliamentary committee to press the proposal.
