James White of Salt Lake City was elected president of the Western States Region of the Council of Jewish Federations and Welfare Funds at its annual conference, which closed on Apr. 15. Other officers are Milton Baruch, Los Angeles, and S. Mason Ehrman, Portland, vice-presidents, and Leon Sloss, San Francisco, treasurer.
