The Australian Government will not consider fresh applications for landing permits on behalf of German and Austrian subjects, the Jewish Welfare Society stated today. Visas will not be granted to holders of landing permits obtained prior to the outbreak of the war if the nominees are now in enemy-controlled territory. Visas will not be granted to Germans and Austrians of military age, between 16 and 45.
