Restriction of private telephone conversations conducted in foreign languages is under consideration by the British authorities, it was disclosed in the House of Commons today.
Richard K. Law, financial secretary in the war Office, denied reports that interned refugees were being given rations exceeding those of the civilian population. He said they received meat and sugar in quantities corresponding with that rationed to the public, but the butter and bacon rations for the internees were lower.
