Agudath Israel Aiding Evacuation of Children from England

The Agudath Israel is telegraphically contacting its affiliated organizations in the United States and Canada to facilitate evacuation of Jewish children from England under the general evacuation scheme. It is seeking housing of Jewish children in Jewish homes or hostels supervised by Jewish bodies.

A small yeshiva has been established at the internment camp on the Isle of Man for the internees who had been students of the London Gateshead yeshivas.

It is learned that numerous refugees from Belgium who had gone to France arrived in England during the past week.

Dr. Ignacy Schwartzbart, member of the Polish Parliament-in-exile, arrived here today from France.
