Group Set Up to Coordinate Evacuation of Jewish Children from England

The Board of Deputies of British Jews, after a conference with the Children’s Overseas Reception Board, is establishing a central committee to deal with all matters referred to it regarding evacuation of Jewish children. The board has received offers from the Dominions to accommodate Jewish children and is maintaining contact with Jewish communities there. It has also been in touch with American Jewish communities.
