Hadassah announced that it had cabled authorization to its American-supported medical and nursing staffs in Palestine to give full cooperation to British military health authorities for the duration of the war. A cable received today from Dr. Judah L. Magnes, president of the Hebrew University and chairman of Hadassah’s war emergency committee, advised that George W. Wadsworth, American Consul-General, had asked for temporary quarters for Americans resident in the country in case of an emergency. Space has been offered in the now-vacant pediatric department of the Rothschild Hadassah Hospital.
